Ffyn's Page
Ffyn lives with Vicki, Ricardo and Poppy (Ch Glenevan's Red Delicious), their other Welshie.  When he was a puppy, Vicki began taking him into the senior day-care where she works, and also having lots of friends over to the house to meet him.  He has grown into a very lovely dog.  He is everything I hoped to get when I bred Plum, and he has the most unflappable temperament.  He's happy wherever he is and takes everything in stride.  Ffyn finished his championship on the day he turned 20 months old.

An early email from Ffyn's family:
Hi, Cathy,
Fynn crashed in the family room at 8 p.m last night, right on litter time. I woke him up to take him out one last time at 10 p.m.,put him in his bedroom crate and went to bed. He maybe made noise for 2 mintues and fell back asleep until 4:45 a.m. when he let me know he needed to go out. He indeed peed and poooood right away outside. I carried him downstairs to the backdoor and he was able to wait until I got on my coat and hat, which I had laid out the night before. Yes, winter puppies are more of a challenge when it come to housebreaking but you did such a fantastic job with the litter box (by our backdoor), which he used several times yesterday including once to poooo, with lots of praise from me. Oh, you wonderful breeder!!!!!
I take him to my vet for his wellness checkup and to get his paperwork started with the practice later this afternoon. I'm also going to take him into work for a brief period afterward. And maybe next weekend, after he's had a week to settle in, I'll call my neighbors with four young children but no dog (wife says to wait until youngest is 5) and ask if I can bring him over for an introduction. Jacob has been off work with the flu for a few days but says he wants to stop in this afternoon after work and meet Ffyn.
It is colder today than yesterday but no wind today so feels better. I'm not keeping Ffyn out more than 10 minutes at a time. He's getting exercise having to hop through the deep snow. Yesterday he jumped up to pull on a juniper branch and brought a bunch of snow down upon himself. It was very funny.
Have a great day. I'll let you know how the vet and my office visit go for Ffyn later today.
Vicki
