An early email from Oliver's family:
Hi Cathy,
Yes, Oliver is a little stinker sometimes also. Usually later in the evening. That is his time to chew anything (except his toys) within sight. He is so funny, we just laugh a lot. He has met quite a few new people this week and seems to like everyone (after initially being a little shy). He has been on several rides in the car and to the park to watch our grandsons at their tennis lessons. We held him as other dogs were around. Right now he is running through the house carrying his duck. He is a busy boy. He also sleeps a lot and is doing very well at night. He lets us know if he has to go out in the night then settles right back down to sleep in his crate.
His house training is going pretty well. He has had a few accidents, but they were our fault for not taking him out when he woke from his nap. We are very happy with his progress. He enjoys the boys. Yesterday our 2 youngest grandsons (both just turned 2yrs) were in the sunroom with him just laughing and sitting very still. I watched them gently petting him and taking turns kissing his head and feet. Oliver lay very quietly and seemed to know he couldn't chew on them like he always wants to do to us. Very impressive!
I'm sending a few pictures of Oliver in the yard, some with Tom and Luke (one of our 2 yr olds). He loves to run and lay in the grass.
