Plum was bred by Shelley Traylor, Cindy Ford, and Kathleen Treanor. Plum's dam is Ch Rolyart's Four Score 'N Seven (Sophie) and her sire is Ch Don's Full Fig. A definition of the word 'plum' means the choicest part of something, and she is truly that.
Plum is co-owned by me and my good friend, Elizabeth (Betty) Oister who lives near Harrisonburg, VA. Until she was two years old, Plum lived with each of us about 6 months at a time. She is a very adaptable girl and loves to be wherever she is. She now lives in Michigan permanently, but we will always be going back to Betty's for visits. Plum is a member of their family and dog pack and I know they miss her as much as I did each time she was at Betty's.
Plum is a very special Welsh. She has beautiful movement, with the reach and drive called for in the Standard. She has equal angles front and rear, lovely topline and tail set. She has a wonderful forechest, good depth of body, nice round feet and a good bite. She passed all her health tests. She's such fun to live with and cute, to boot!
